Merkel for first time in 11 years did not enter list of most influential women in world

Ex-Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel for the first time in 11 years did not enter the list of the most influential women in the world according to Forbes magazine. This is evidenced by the rating published on the publication website.

Before that, for 10 years in a row, she headed the rating, but dropped out of him after leaving politics. At the same time, other leaders got into the list of influential women – for example, the Prime Minister of Denmark Frederixen and the head of the European Commission of Ursula von der Layen.

In 2021, the list was headed by the writer McCenzi Scott, the former wife of the founder Amazon Jeff Bezness.

Germany Chancellor Angela Mergel will resign on December 8 after the election of the leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Olaf Scholtsa new Chancellor.

December 2, a solemn ceremony of farewell to the army with the acting Chancellor of Angela Merkel was held. 200 people were invited to the ceremony – all 52 federal ministers of its reign and other comrades. Throughout the day, the military orchestra rehearsed the favorite musical compositions of Merkel, who, by tradition, she herself chose for the event.
