Candidate for the head of the Foreign Ministry of Czech Republic, Yang Lipavsky, nominated from the Czech Pirate Party, said that he did not know how to get out of a dead end formed in Czech-Russian relations. His words quotes TASS.
He noted that the Government of the Acting Prime Minister Andrei Babisha began to work on finding new links of relations with Russia, and the current foreign minister Yakub Kulgank is already conducting an audit of Czech-Russian relations.
“After the publicity of the incident in Vrbetice, Russia included us together with the United States to the list of unfriendly states. This is unprofitable for the Czech Republic in the long run,” Lipavsky added. According to him, now the Czech Republic needs to normalize relations with Russia.
Previously the current Czech Foreign Minister Yakub Kulganzeksvalivoy Russia and NATO to sit at the negotiating table. According to Kulganka, now the advantage in the confrontation between Moscow and Brussels is on the side of the Kremlin. According to him, NATO is ready for dialogue with Russia. However, as the minister noted, the meeting Russia – NATO has not been held for two years at the initiative of Moscow.
