Modernized anti-aircraft rocket and cannon complex (PCPC) “Pole-C1M” is able to fight with all types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), including shock. Such the possibilities of the complex in a conversation with TASS disclosed the industrial director of the arms cluster of the State Corporation “Rostech” Beckhan Ozdoev.
According to him, as a result of the modernization of “shell”, in particular, it is capable of effectively detecting and destroying all types of drum blades in service.
In turn, the Deputy General Director of the Holding “High-precision Complexes”, which is part of Rostech, Sergey Mikhailov said that the modernized IPPC is capable of becoming the basis of tactical air defense, covering any military units from small-sized and drums, high-precision weapons and military aviation – aircraft and helicopters, and may also affect small drone drones.
Mikhailov noted that Pacre-C1M fully complies with modern A2 / AD principles – the theory of air defense, allowing to block the enemy access to critical areas.
In August, it was reported that Russia for the first time selling a foreign customer’s mobile complex of radio-electronic counteraction “repellent patrol”, providing a zonal cover of the territories to suppress the drone at a distance of 20 kilometers. Contracts were also concluded for the supply of a complex of radio-electronic struggle (RES) “Krasuha” and an anti-aircraft rocket and cannon complex (IPR) “Polecir-C1m”. The relevant agreements are concluded during the Forum “Army-2021”.
