Almost ten years after its creation, the parody site has been redeemed by investors for an undisclosed amount.

The PARODIQUE SITE Gorafi has been bought by a Investment company in digital, DC Company, announces the company in a statement, confirming Information from BFM-TV . The amount of the acquisition has not been revealed.
Created in 2012, the Gorafi claims two million monthly unique visitors, has 1.4 million subscribers to its Facebook page and 1.3 million subscribers on Twitter. Pablo Mira, one of the founders of the site, joins DC Company as a consultant.
DC Company says he wants to make other acquisitions in the media or technology sector in the coming year. The company, led by Geoffrey La Rocca, former director of the Teads Advertising Régie, intends to evolve the economic model of Gorafi, now mainly funded by advertising and individual donations.
The site will set up regular calls for support through the Tipeee Participatory Funding Platform, but also “Developing Content for Trademarks”, explains the Rocca to BFM-TV. Promotional satirical contents that will be “broadcast on the Gorafi site and social networks”.
