Rosneft and a number of Chinese companies within the framework of the III of the Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum signed agreements on cooperation in the field of procurement procedures.
The main objective of the Model Agreement is the development of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation and the possibility of participation of Chinese companies in the procurement procedures of Rosneft NK in the construction of production facilities totaling 760 billion rubles.
In accordance with the document, the company intends to inform Chinese suppliers and contractors on the start of procurement procedures on certain capital construction facilities, as well as to provide methodological support of participation in procurement.
Rosneft continues the development of its own mining projects in Russia, increasing capital costs. In particular, in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Rosneft began the implementation of one of the largest investment projects in the oil and gas industry – East Oil. The resource base of the project is over 6 billion tons of premium minor oil. East Oil includes 52 licensed areas, in the boundaries of which 13 oil and gas fields are located.
In November, Rosneft has completed the series of the Road Show of the East Oil project for foreign suppliers and contractors. A total of more than 760 people from 360 foreign organizations took part in the meetings. As a result, the company received about 60 proposals on cooperation.
