European market recovered from new strain of Covid-19

The main stock exchange indices of the European stock market recovered from the news about the spread of a new strain of Coronavirus B.1.1.529, opened by the growth at the auction on November 29, writes CNBC.

The Stoxx 600 pan-European index rose at a peak to 469.74 points (plus 1.1 percent compared to the closure of the previous trading session). The leading index of the British Stock Exchange FTSE 100 rose to 7134.14 points (plus 1.28 percent), the DAX index reflecting the average capitalization of the largest German companies, rose to 15,439.45 points (plus 1.19 percent). The CAC 40 index showing the average capitalization of the 40 largest French companies, rose to 6835.04 points (plus 1.43 percent).

European indexes grew after a sharp drop on Friday, November 26. The news of the appearance of a new strain hit all global markets. Oil quotes also collapsed. The price of Brent oil has fallen by almost 11 percent. Investors fear new locomotives and slowdown in the world economy.
