Gazprom’s net profit on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), accounting for shareholders, amounted to a record 1.55 trillion rubles for the results of January-September. For the same period last year there were 218.4 billion rubles net loss. Such data are disclosed in the holding report.
Revenue during the reporting period took off more than 1.5 times (up to 6.725 trillion rubles), which also became an absolute record for the company. EBITDA indicator (profit before tax deductions) increased by 137 percent (up to 2.213 trillion rubles).
Gazprom’s profits in the third quarter amounted to 581.8 billion rubles against a loss of 251.3 billion a year earlier. Revenue for this period increased by 70 percent – up to 2.37 trillion rubles (record quarterly). The company supplied gas to far abroad at an average price of 241 dollars per thousand cubic meters (against 128.9 dollar a year earlier).
For the countries of the former USSR, the average price for January-September increased to $ 165.5 per thousand cubic meters (plus 20 percent). For nine months, gas sales to foreign countries grew to 175.7 billion cubic meters against 154.4 billion a year earlier (plus 14 percent).
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Company Famil Sadigov noted that the price of gas supplies to Europe in the fourth quarter will continue to grow, which will positively affect the results of the whole year. Gazprom has already raised the assessment of the Group’s investment for the current year from 1.83 to two trillion rubles.
Earlier it was reported that the Board of Gazprom approved a record investment program for 2022. In total, expenses will amount to 1.76 trillion rubles, of which 1,43 trillion is required to capital investments.
