Oil reserves in Russia will have enough at least for 30 years, and gas is 50 years old. Such an assessment was given by the Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, TASS reports.
According to him, despite the process of energy transfer, Russia is confident in the possibility of realizing oil and gas reserves. “We believe that in the coming years these resources will be in demand on energy workers,” Novak emphasized.
In addition, he said that gas supplies to China on the Power Siberia pipeline at the end of November reached 13.4 billion cubic meters.
Previously, the authorities spoke about measures in the oil market due to the Omicron strain of coronavirus. According to Novak, there is no need for urgent measures yet. He stressed that colleagues for OPEC + did not appeal about making urgent measures because of a new strain.
Novak indicated that that, despite the fact that the price of oil fell by 10 percent after the appearance of a new strain, “today the price has grown almost 4 percent.”
