Bulgaria: began analysis of DNA of remains of died in an accident with bus

Proficial departments of Bulgaria began the procedure for analyzing DNA to establish the personalities of those killed in a large accident involving the tourist bus on the “Struma” motorway. This was announced by TASS with reference to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Northern Macedonia Oliver Supzovsky.

he explained that after the completion of the identification of the remains will follow the procedure for transporting bodies to the capital of Northern Macedonia. The organization and expenses will be assigned to the state. It is also reported that the relatives of the victims will be able to get on the territory of Bulgaria without presentation of visas and documents related to anticoid restrictions.

The accident occurred on November 23 at 3 am, near the village of Bosnek in the Pernik region. The bus with 52 passengers was headed from Istanbul to Northern Macedonia. When the accident happened, the car caught fire, as a result of which 46 people were killed, including 12 children.

All the dead were citizens of Northern Macedonia. According to the Bulgarian authorities, the main causes of the accident could be a wet road, a bus malfunction and felling as a driver. Also, investigators allowed the bus to light up before the accident.
