Former employee of the Central Intelligence Department (CIA) of the United States Kevin Cholker followed the opponents of Qatar in the struggle for the right to hold the World Cup of 2022. This is reported by Associated Press (AP) with reference to sources.
Cholecker and his consulting firm hired Qatar officials. The task of the Ex-CIA officer was the collection of information about representatives of other countries – primarily the United States and Australia – claimed CM-2022. The American also tried to access information about telephone calls for a certain high-ranking official of the International Football Federation (FIFA), whose name is not called.
