This private force has made it talk about it recently when one of its dogs hurt a man. The district also remembers the recent arrest of a seller, carriers with nearly two hundred doses of heroin and cocaine.
And apart from that? “What annoys the residents, it’s the persistence of the problem for several years,” says Lucas. With the presence, many times denounced, of dealers of African origin, carriers of Italian or French papers. This ended up becoming a conflict between the town hall of the city and the Ministry of Security, taxed immobilism. In 2020, four ministers therefore promised a strengthening of controls, cooperation with neighboring countries for the resellers and a law to attack “at the root” the issue of drug addiction.
