The effectiveness of revaccination from coronavirus was almost two times higher than the effect of primary vaccination. This was announced by the deputy head of the center of Gamalei Logunov, reports Interfax.
According to Logunov, the effectiveness of revaccination “is somewhere 1.6 – 2 times higher than even after the first vaccination.” He noted that the data of both Russian and foreign researchers also speak.
“can be judged by the incidence index,” explained Logunov. He added that repeated vaccination should be done in six months. Subject to the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, it suggested, it is recommended to revaluate once a year.
Earlier, Logunov announced that the first and second phase of clinical studies of the COVID-19 vaccine for children were completed in Russia.
