Germany: will be allowed to make euthanasia only vaccinated people

The Euthanasia Association (Verein Sterbehilfe) in Germany will prohibit this operation to those who can be sick with COVID-19 or does not vaccinate the coronavirus vaccine, since because of this, the likelihood of the subsequent spread of the virus is increasing. This is stated on the Association website.

Euthanasia Allow only those who are vaccinated or recovered after the contamination of coronavirus. “Euthanasia and preparation for it requires the responsibility of those who have decided to die, but requires human proximity,” the Association said. However, such “proximity” – for example, the presence of loved ones – may result in their infection, since the virus can spread from the corpse, indicated in the message.

In this regard, a new procedure for preparing for euthanasia is introduced at least in two cities in Germany – Zurich and Hamburg.

In February 2020, the German Constitutional Court recognized the right of citizens of the country to voluntary euthanasia. It can be carried out by a representative of a commercial medical organization or any doctor engaged in medical practice.
