The beginning of the final phase of preparation for the flight into space is predicted crew training on the Baikonur cosmodrome. Today is the first day of training classes for cosmonauts and participants of the space flight of the 20th Expedition of the ISS visiting.
On the morning of November 20, 2021, the main and duplicating crews arrived at the installation and test case No. 254 for the passage of the first workout in the Soyuz MS-20 ship. Under the control of specialists of the state corporation “Roskosmos”, they tried the “Falcon KV-2” flights, tested them on hermetic and occupied places in the ship. After that, familiarized with the places of cargo in the household compartment and the descent apparatus, carried out work with the equipment with which to work on board the international space station.
Further classes on the Baikonur include training on the manual mooring of the piloted ship “Union of MS” to the Russian segment of the ISS, control of styling with scientific equipment for conducting space experiments, the development of ballistic operations and other preparatory procedures.
Run is scheduled for December 8, 2021 from the starting complex “East” of the Baikonur cosmodrome. The flight to the International Space Station duration of 12 days will be held under a contract with Space Adventures. The commander of the main crew is the cosmonaut of Roscosmos Alexander Misurnkin, and Yusaka Maesava, President of the Start Tudai Corporation, and Joseza, Personal Assistant Yusaka Maesava, were appointed as participants in the cosmic flight to the main crew.
