Macron reproached Britain in reluctance to accept refugees

Britain should take on its territory of migrants who want to reunite with the family. This opinion was expressed by President of France Emmanuel Macron, reports Daily Mail.

The French leader accused London in provocations and reproached the British authorities in reluctance to support the process of family reunification. At the same time, he recalled the need to strengthen cooperation to resolve the migration crisis.

Macron listed the main steps to be taken to solve the situation with refugees. Among the important measures, he called preventing the construction of long-term camps on the borders, the elimination of the networks of accomplices of illegal migration and work with the countries from where most of the refugees leaves.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Britain stated that the Schengen Agreement, which abolished the national borders between member countries, led to the fact that France was “poured” migrants trying to get to the United Kingdom. According to her, illegals use all possible funds to twist La Mans and find themselves in the UK, get there refugee status and benefit.
