President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with “Bi-Bi” allowed that his military countries assisted migrants from the Middle East in the intersection of the border with Poland.
“I think it is absolutely possible. We are Slavs. We have a heart. Our military know that migrants go to Germany. Maybe someone helped them. I will not even delve into it,” said Lukashenko.
However, he denies that thousands of migrants were specifically invited to Belarus to provoke a crisis on the borders with the European Union.
According to Lukashenko, he was not going to delay them on the border. “But I did not invite them here. And, honestly, I do not want them to go through Belarus,” he concluded.
Earlier, the spokesman for Lukashenko Natalia Eismont reported that he was in conversation with Vrio Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel stated that the European Union was to create a humanitarian corridor for two thousand refugees. In exchange for this, the Belarusian leader has promised to promote all other migrants to their homeland.
TASS with reference to the source in the German Cabinet reported that Merkel replied Lukashenko with refusal to offer to Germany migrants. Poland opposed the creation of a humanitarian corridor.
