Chairman of the Coordination Council of Russian compatriots (CSORS) Elena Branson stated that the organization hopes that the US authorities will stop the persecution of Russian foreign entries. She stated RIA Novosti.
“We are as a non-political, informal and non-commercial organization that has not received funds and has no account that has been not foreign agents,” the agency’s interlocutor told, adding that there was an increase in the repatriation process of compatriots to Russia.
According to her, over the past year, as part of the investigation on violations of laws on foreign agents, the FBI questioned at least several hundred most active representatives of the Russian diaspora in the United States. “Among the questioned was most of the members of the horsepower, and the FBI agents came to me with a search,” the head of the organization said.
Branson emphasized that it was “that the unprecedented pressure on the part of the American special services to the Russian community was the cause of the suspension of the work of the quantitus.” In her opinion, now members of the US Corso may be persecuted.
