Biden called on Canada and Mexico together to deal with Covid-19 pandemic

US President Joe Biden, opening the summit of the leaders of North America’s leaders in the White House, called on Canada and Mexico together with the United States to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and the consequences of the migration and climatic crisis. His words leads TASS.

“We must put an end to the pandemic and take decisive actions to restrain the climatic crisis. We must implement inclusive economic recovery. We must cope with the problem of unprecedented migration in our hemisphere,” said the head of state.

Biden added that the future of North America should be built on the shared strengths of the three countries and announced the importance of partnership in providing supply chains and in combating cybercrime.

The summit of state leaders was held for the first time since 2016. Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudo arrived at him and President Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Ordor.

Earlier, Biden called Americans, who still have not been vaccinated from Coronavirus, the main risk for the American economy. He noted that the vaccination of the overwhelming majority of Americans is the only way to cope with the pandemic.
