Prosecutor General of Russian Federation on a working visit visited eastern cosmodrome

The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov on November 19, 2021, a cosmodrome under construction was visited on a working visit. Opening a meeting, Igor Krasnov noted that the cosmodrome is the largest national project requiring not only the unprecedented amount of funding, but also in fact of the daily interested participation in its implementation of a significant number of state bodies, enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership. The Prosecutor General of Russia stressed that information on the construction of a cosmodrome on an ongoing basis is reported to the President of the Russian Federation.

The meeting discussed problem issues of legality in the construction of the first and second stage of the cosmodrome. It was noted that the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation carried out work to strengthen interdepartmental interaction in this field.
