Lukashenko proposed EU to create a humanitarian corridor for migrants to Germany

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with Vrio Chancellor Germany Angela Merkel said that the European Union (EU) should create a humanitarian corridor for two thousand refugees who are in the so-called spontaneous camp. Details of the conversation of two leaders revealed the press secretary of the President of Belarus Natalia Eismont, transfers BelTA.

According to her, Merkel, according to the agreements, would have to negotiate with the EU, including the issue of the humanitarian corridor. In exchange for this, the Belarusian leader promised to promote all other migrants to their homeland, added Eismont. She stressed that in the territory of Belarus, seven thousand refugees are located on the territory of Belarus.

Press secretary Lukashenko indicated that Belarus had already started to fulfill his promises, and on November 18, 374 people flew from Minsk to Baghdad. The rest of illegallands, said Eismont, continue to wait for departures to EU countries and categorically refuse to return to Iraq, but Minsk will work on it.
