Food inflation in Russia reached two-digit values, the head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Elvira Nabiullina said, reports TASS.
“The same inflation was low not so long, only four years near the goal of four percent. Now it is twice as high, and the food is already unfortunately a double-digit,” she said.
Nabiullina explained that the high rise in prices for products did not affect the very good harvest, the growth of global prices, the increase in labor in agriculture, since the number of migrants decreased.
