Belarusian authorities will begin to vaccinate those on the border with Poland migrants from coronavirus. This was announced by the deputy of the Council of the Republic of Viktor Liskovich now at the site of the event, the Telegram channel of Belta reports.
According to him, such a decision was made after numerous appeals of the migrants themselves. The official added that vaccination will help strengthen and maintain the health of people who stay on the street for a long time and do not have access to any benefits. Liskovich also noted that the situation on the border is now relatively stable.
“There is everything you need for the life of refugees. We do our best to minimize the spread of infectious diseases,” the senator told. In addition, he pointed out, on the border with illegals, foreign volunteers will start working for the establishment of communication, and it is also planned to bring autolant and put the exchange office so that people can buy essential goods.
In early November, a migration crisis was aggravated on the eastern line of Belarus. Thousands of refugees from the countries of the Middle East approached barriers at the border and tried to penetrate the territory of the European Union. Polish security forces had to use additional forces to hold back their pressure.
