Sudanese doctors stated number of victims during street clashes with police

The Central Committee of Sudan’s doctors reported the death of 14 people due to collisions of street demonstrators with the country of the country on November 17. In the capital of Sudan, Khartoumus continues protests, swelling the city after the arrival of the military. According to the statements of local doctors, Sudanese security forces are used against protesting tear gas and weapons, and also impede the provision of medical care to the wounded.

Sudan Police does not agree with these estimates. According to their data, only one person became a victim of unrest in Khartoum, and the total number of victims is 30 people. The police also report that losses on their side are more – 89 victims and three damaged service machines. They added that they do not use combat weapons.

On October 25, 2021, a coup in Sudan occurred. The power was captured by the military, arresting civilian government led by Prime Minister Abdalla Humducom. Humduk did not agree with the permutation of political forces in the country and urged his supporters to enter the streets.
