Poland: called on to refuse “Northern Flood-2” and not give money to Putin

Poland’s Prime Minister Mateush Morrazetsky urged Germany to abandon the launch of the North Stream-2 gas pipeline. He spoke about it in an interview with the BILD newspaper.

In his opinion, Germany should terminate the procedure for certification of the Russian draft for the sake of peace, and not to give additional money to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“It is necessary to work together for the sake of peace, and not to give Vladimir Putin additional money in the form of payments for energy resources, with the help of which he can continue to increase weapons,” said Moleketsky.

He also turned to the leader of Social Democrats Olaf Scholzo, calling for the stop “Northern Stream-2”.

November 16, Germany suspended the certification of the North Stream-2 gas pipeline. Sources in the German government noted that the launch of the gas pipeline can be postponed until March 2022 due to certification problems.

They also indicated that Gazprom needs to create a subsidiary of the Swiss project operator Nord Stream 2 AG, after which it is possible to transfer her property and law in Germany. Only after that the regulator will be ready to resume the certification process to then transfer it to the European Commission. The representative of the Federal Network Agency for Germany (BNetza) refused to comment on the transfer of the launch of the “Northern Flow-2” for March 2022.
