On Wednesday, November 17, the press service of the Russian Security Council apparatus was reported that Patrushev and Sullivan during a telephone conversation agreed to work together on improving the atmosphere of Russian-American relations. There also stressed that negotiations were held constructively and took place as part of the preparation of upcoming top-level contacts.
On November 10, the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said that the agreement on the new meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States Vladimir Putin and Joe Bayden had not yet been reached.
