Large shoes manufacturers warned Belorussia to suspend deliveries to the country due to labeling problems, which began on November 1. Nike, Lamoda, “Sportmaster” and “Children’s World” sent a corresponding letter to the Belarusian government. The Ministry of Taxes and Claims of Belarus confirmed its receipt. This is reported by the issue of “Vedomosti”.
According to the document, the firms have problems with the local monitoring system of information on the Russian sample codes. So, when they are inserted, the system issues a number of errors, which does not allow to enter such a product into circulation. It is noted that this problem is massive.
A person who participated in the compilation of the letter to the Belarusian government, told “Vedomosti” that some companies have already stopped supplies to the country, while others can do it until the end of the month. At the same time, the representative of the company “Sportmaster” announced the publication that the company continues to supply goods to Belarus and hopes for the early resolution of the problem. Lamoda also confirmed the fact of suspension of supply, but noted that they were already partially restored.
Vice-President of the Association of Enterprises of the Sports Industry enterprises, Dmitry Vishnyakov, also told that the supply of shoes in Belarus go through Russia. Companies have to buy codes twice, first at the Russian Center for the Development of promising technologies (CRPT), and then from the Belarusian Operator “Belblankavd”.
Previously, major Belarusian banks against the background of US sanctions faced problems when conducting transactions through the international payment system SWIFT. Customers of the BSB Bank, Dabubbits, Belveba, Belarusbank, Belagroprombank and Priorbank, were complained about the problems.
