The mortality rates of patients with coronavirus in Europe continued to grow. This was stated in the World Health Organization (WHO), reports TASS.
According to the organization, the number of victims of COVID-19 in the European Region increased by five percent in the European Region, and the number of new cases of infection – for eight. It is noted that during this period, more than 28 thousand citizens died from the complications of infection.
“For a week from November 8 to 14, a tendency to an increase in the number of new cases in the world was observed, and their number exceeded 3.3 million compared with the previous week,” indicated in WHO. At the end of the last week, Europe accounts for 64 percent of all infected coronavirus and 57 percent of fatal outcomes.
Earlier in WHO stated that Europe again became the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. Recently, this region accounts for half cases of infection and death from COVID-19 in the world.
