TASS agency first of the world media opens up its permanent missions at the International Space Station (ISS). The Memorandum of Cooperation, which implies the implementation of the joint project of the Agency and Roscosmos, was signed on November 17, General Director of Tass Sergey Mikhailov and Head of the State Corporation Dmitry Rogozin.
The first TASS correspondent in orbit will be the hero of Russia Cosmonaut Roscosmos Alexander Misurnkin. He will talk about life and work at the station, his news can be read on the agency’s information resources, and watch photos and videos on the website and official pages on social networks.
According to Mikhailov, TASS always seeks to be where news occurs.
In turn, Rogozin expressed confidence that the discovery of the Corpoal TASS on the ISS will allow to tell more people about the domestic cosmonautics.
Misurnkin will go to space on December 8 on the Soyuz MS-20 ship, together with the Japanese billionaire, Yusaka Maesava and his business assistant Yozo Hirano. Now he is on quarantine. Before the flight on Baikonur, he will be transferred to the certificate of a special correspondent of TASS through the deputy head of the cosmonaut preparation center. Yu.A. At the moment, the work of the TASS in real time provides almost two thousand employees. Regional information centers in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg, dozens of corpses in the regions of Russia, as well as 63 representative offices of the Agency in 60 countries allow you to quickly receive and disseminate objective information about events in Russia and the world among the widest possible audience. In 16 countries, and now in the orbit of the Earth, TASS correspondents are the only representatives of the Russian media. Daily, the agency produces about 2 thousand posts and about 600-800 photos and videos from their own correspondents in Russia and abroad, forming a holistic and objective picture of events.
