Russian Viktor Balashov, who fell into the SIZO in Kazakhstan after a business scandal because of his work on the largest Russian manufacturer of East-Service workwear, announced opponents’ attempts to put pressure on the court. The letter referred to the editor of the “Renta.ru” his mother Irina Balashova.
According to Balashov, in the editorial office of various media there are proposals to publish materials that flashes his honor and dignity. They are written by people associated with the Maslyhat deputy (local council) of the city of Almaty Nursultan Shokanov, who passes the victim in this case.
In addition, he stated that such materials already appear in the media of Kazakhstan. According to Balashov, the judge earlier made a warning to representatives of the victim for publication in the media of the court sessions without the consent of the remaining participants in the process. He also warned that he would consider it an attempted pressure on the court (the audio recording of the relevant words of the judge is at the disposal of “Renta.ru”).
Balashov is confident that the materials in the media handed over the lawyer of Shokanova Ascar Kaimakov. A businessman sent a statement to the Justice Department of Justice, demanding to deprive Kaimakov license for disclosing the court sessions, which is a violation of the Code of Code of Kazakhstan.
Viktor Balashov, who worked in Kazakhstan at the position of the top manager of the largest Russian manufacturer of East-Service workwear, was a victim of a business scandal between the company’s leadership in the face of Dmitry Golzhanyev and the local partner of Nursultan Shokanov. In September, the Kazakh authorities placed the Russians in the SIZO, and during the last court session, the prosecutor’s office requested 11 years in prison for him.
According to Mother Balashov, the defense was able to fully prove the fabrication of the criminal case against her son, but the chances of winning in court are very small. At the same time, she pointed out that he was constantly putting pressure on her son, and Shokanov himself, who allegedly belongs to the clan of the first president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
