Specialists were made by EaseVRX VR technology from AppLiedvr in the treatment of chronic lower back pain. Permitted FDA The device consists of a VR headset, a controller and special sensors that are used for breathing exercises. The treatment program is based on deep relaxation and switching, it consists of 56 virtual reality sessions with a duration of 2 to 16 minutes.
The FDA conducted a randomized study with an invitation of 179 participants who complained about chronic back pain. The program lasted eight weeks, in general, doctors controlled patients for 8.5 months. 66 percent of the participants reported a decrease in pain by about 30 percent. Serious unwanted phenomena was not observed.
In August, the researchers from Samara have developed testing to assess the psychological qualities of the applicant using a virtual reality helmet. It is assumed to diagnose the psychological aspects of employees to particularly responsible positions.
