President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will ask Russian colleague Vladimir Putin about help in resolving the migration crisis. He stated this during a meeting on the situation at the border, transfers BelTA.
“If we need some kind of help of a military-technical character, defense (this is our common border, the Allied State), you say. I will talk with the President of Russia and ask him to connect and, if necessary, has relevant assistance without retracting them [Russia] in this crisis of refugees, “said Lukashenko.
he added that the “chambers of the collective West” want to “transfer” responsibility for the migration crisis on Russia, which has nothing to do with this.
Earlier, Lukashenko revealed the details of his conversation with the temporarily acting Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. He reported that he made a proposal on the disconnection of the situation, but did not voice the specific details of the initiative.
“We came to a single opinion that the escalation of anyone is needed – neither the European Union, nor Belarus. And to admit escalation, as if someone would not like, right up to a hot collision, we cannot,” Lukashenko stressed.
Meanwhile, on November 16, migrants tried to break the fence on the border to get to Poland. Polish border guards began to accelerate them with water letters, tear gas and light grenades.
