President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is ready to promote refugees from Belarus to native countries. At the same time, the migrants themselves do not want to return home, the president noted at a meeting with the Working Group on the Refinement of the draft constitution. Lukashenko believes that the Belarusian authorities do everything so that refugees do not accumulate in the natural camp on the border.
“We are ready to plant everyone in planes, which will take them back home. But these are people, I must say, very drooped: no one wants to return. They have no housing there, they understand that there is nothing to feed the children there,” said Lukashenko. The Belarusian President added that migrants actively persuade return to their native countries, but so far unsuccessfully.
