Provocative media in Europe are branded as “heirs of Hitler” of the right populists who are advocated for traditional values and against the influx of migrants. However, soon the discredit policy can lead to the opposite effect: people will understand that the authorities are lying. Such an opinion in conversation with “Tape.ru” expressed Britt Shelvenberg, a political analyst from the University of Munich Ludwig and Maximilian.
“People hear that the” alternative for Germany “is the Nazis, and then they see that this party stands for the expansion of local self-government, for example. As a result, they notice that the government is lying. Exactly about it and populists warned” – explains Schellberg.
