Prices for cars with mileage under seven took off in Russia almost one and a half times – for January-October cars rose by 42 percent compared to the same period last year, Autonews writes with reference to Avito.Avto research.
These cars are an average of 930 thousand rubles. In some Russian regions, the price of used cars rose even stronger. For example, in St. Petersburg, they rose on average by 60 percent, in Novosibirsk – by 55 percent, in Moscow – by 54.
Cause is associated with a shortage of new machines against the background of the crisis of electronic autocomponents. The most demanded used car in the first ten months of the year became Lada Granta. On average, it costs 395 thousand rubles (plus 25.4 percent). In second place – Hyundai Solaris, then Kia Rio goes.
Earlier, the deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Commission of Russia Vasily Shpak stated that the breaking of logistics chains in the supply of electronic components for the automotive industry would increase, and the problems associated with this will be more and more. He believes that the most important for the car market is the substitution of imports and the transition to Russian components.
