Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated the growth rate of the Russian economy. The increase in GDP in 2021 will be up to 4.7 percent, said the head of state during a speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit. Reports about it TASS.
“We have already returned to the Daemaemic level for GDP growth, and in 2021, according to our estimates, it will be up to 4.7 percent,” Putin said. The increase in global GDP for the year, according to the forecasts of the head of Russia, will be 5.9 percent. At the same time, for members of APEC, this indicator will be even higher – an average of 6.4 percent. Putin noted that the increase in GDP in Russia will not be the highest in the region, but for the Russian economy it is “quite a good indicator.”
Head of State added that Moscow does not approve of one-sided politically motivated restrictions in the global economy. “Russia opposes protectionism in the global economy and trade, for refusing to use one-sided politically motivated restrictions in order to combat markets and eliminating competitors,” Putin said.
