Chairman of the Communist Party of China Si Jinping will now be called the “feed of the Chinese Renaissance”, thereby comparing it with the ex-chairman of the Central Committee of the CP of China Mao Zedong – a politician who is considered one of the most important figures in Chinese history. Mao Zedun himself in China is called “Great Kormchim”, writes Reuters with reference to the representative of the Communist Party.
The relevant resolution was adopted on the sixth plenum of the CCP Central Committee on Thursday, November 11. At the congress, it was decided that the entire party should adhere to the ideas of Marxism-Leninism, as well as “fully implement the socialist idea of Czypine with Chinese peculiarities in a new era.”
Reuters notes that thereby the authorities want to strengthen the powers of the Chinese leader. At the same time, other publications – in particular, The Economist – believe that the Chairman of China’s Communist Party simply “rewrites the story” to justify the rigid policy.
To that, in particular, Muslim-Uigurov genocide can be attributed: according to a number of human rights organizations, Official Beijing pursues a policy aimed at assimilation of the population in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Muslims living there were forbidden to call children traditional names for them, forced to eat pork and drink alcohol in violation of traditions. The network also appeared information on the subsidence of representatives of the title nation in the Uigur family and the promotion of Uygur women decided on sterilization.
