Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makay in an interview with RIA Novosti said that Minsk does not intend to ask for specific assistance from the Kremlin because of the situation on the border with Poland. However, the Minister is confident that if necessary, such support will necessarily come from Moscow.
“As for some particular assistance, then, let’s say, we do not send specific requests,” said Makay.
He also stressed that Belarus categorically does not want any conflicts on its territory, and therefore the country’s authorities will do everything to avoid such a scenario.
