According to Polish authorities, up to 20 thousand migrants who want to cross the border and get to the European Union in Belarus. This was told by the Deputy Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Pavel Jablona in a conversation with an El Pais newspaper.
Diplomat said that the number of migrants becomes more every day. Polish authorities already counted about five thousand people who arrived in the border. Another 20 thousand flew to Belarus. According to Jablonian, migrants buy vouchers through Belarusian travel agencies.
“The crisis will last at least a few days,” the diplomat concluded. He added that part of the refugees – about two thousand people – is in Poland in custody.
On the night of November 10, two large groups of migrants broke through the border of Belarus and Poland. Some illegals were returned back to the border line. The search for the rest continues.
EU countries are confident that official Minsk is responsible for the crisis. There are already ready to introduce new sanctions against about 30 individuals and legal entities of Belarus. The Foreign Minister Vladimir Makay and the Belarusian airline “Belavia” can enter this list.
