Britain concerned Russian intelligence ship

The Russian intelligence ship “Kildin” worried about Britain. The network appeared snapshots of the ship near the Dutch frigate, who accompanied the British aircraft carrier. The author The Times suggested that the Russian ship watched the British aircraft carrier.

The Russian intelligence ship was noticed in the pictures of the Dutch frigate Evertsen off the coast of Oman. Kildine moored in front of the ship of the Royal Narland Netherlands. The publication notes that Evertsen accompanied the British aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth.

Intelligence Specialist on the basis of open sources H. I. Sutton noted that the Russian ship is intended for collecting intelligence. “Originally built as a hydrographic ship over 50 years ago, Kildin is now used for electronic intelligence purposes. He has several antennas,” Satton explained.

The author The Times suggested that the Russian ship was noticed during surveillance for the British aircraft carrier. The publication notes that Kildin left the port after the Evertsen frigate.

Kildin’s hydrographic vessel was lowered in 1969, and in 1970 the ship was converted to the average intelligence ship. Kildin is equipped with special equipment of radar, radio visor and hydroacoustics.

In September, H. I. Sutton drew attention to the Russian oceanographic research vessel “Amber” in the territorial waters of Ireland. The Russian ship may violate underwater communications, reports UK Defence Journal.
