The National Assembly noted, Wednesday, 10 November, for two additional years the ceiling of the “colucic” device which makes it possible to deduce taxes 75% of the sums paid to associations. With the support of the government, the members validated an amendment to the draft budget 2022, which had been initiated by the Modem Group.
The “colucic” device, thus named in reference to the restaurants of the heart-based heart, allows a tax exemption for payments made for the benefit of associations that provide free meals and / or care to people in difficulty , or help them to stay.
Originally, the tax exempting ceiling was 552 euros. But in March 2020, Parliament had temporarily enhanced it to 1,000 euros to deal with precariousness due to the health crisis. “This increase in the ceiling has made it possible to accompany an impetus of historical solidarity from our fellow citizens,” the amendment is amended in its explanatory memorandum. But “many situations of economic fragility can still be present in the territories” is observed. The reinforced “colucic” device will therefore be extended in 2022 and 2023.
Supports in difficulty territories
Members have extended other devices such as taxpayer tax reduction that invest in the acquisition of housing within elderly or student residences with services. This device, says “Censi-Bouvard”, is extended until the end of the year 2022 considering “not only of the demographic change but also the effects of the health crisis on student accommodation”, Is it explained in the amendment.
The Assembly has also extended to the end of 2023 various supporting devices to the territories in difficulty: this concerns areas of rural revitalization, urban free zones and priority development areas. The objective is to give more visibility to entrepreneurs supported in these territories. The Minister of Public Accounts, Olivier Dussopt, indicated that he would ask the Senate in the parliamentary shuttle with the Senate the addition of the extension of the city’s policy.
