EU asked Russia to influence migration crisis between Poland and Belarus

The European Union (EU) appealed to Russia with a request to use influence on Belarus to solve the problem of the influx of migrants to the border with Poland. It is reported by RIA Novosti from the words of the press secretary of Brussels Peter Main.

“I will repeat our call on behalf of the European Union to Russia to use his influence on Belarus, close links between the Russian Federation and Belarus in many areas, so that [President of Belarus Alexander] Lukashenko stopped this activity,” the representative of the EU said.

Previously, the Belarusian leader stated that it was not involved in the focus of migrants through Belorussia in the EU. “Where did [president of Russia, Vladimir] Putin? And here Lukashenko? You bombed Afghanistan and there further. I got to China,” the politician was indignant.
