Kazakhstan will share with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan weapons due to the situation in Afghanistan. It is reported by “Spuntik Kazakhstan”.
Kazakhstan will give Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan ammunition and special equipment. Military assistance will be provided free of charge, the costs of its delivery Kazakh side will also take over.
Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic Ruslan Shpekbayev noted that the transfer of weapons would not affect the defense capability of Kazakhstan itself. To date, the bill on military assistance was approved by the deputies of the Kazakh Mazhilis (Lower House of Parliament). It will later be reviewed by Senate.
