A man who attacked passers-by and police in the area of Bislette Norwegian Oslo turned out to be a Chechen with citizenship of Russia. This is evidenced by the data published by Verdens Gang newspaper.
According to the publication, about a year ago, the court sentenced him to forced psychiatric assistance for a similar assault in Oslo, committed in 2019.
Now the authorities of Norway note that they cannot call the current attack. At the same time, local media publish different testimonies for which the man pursued passersby with a knife and shouted on them. In particular, it is argued that Chechen shouted the words “Allah Akbar, I will kill you.”
