This was stated on the ether of the Polish Radio Popular Minister of Minister of Coordinator of Poland Stanislav Zharyn, reports Interfax-West.
“Estimates on the presence of migrants in Belarus as a whole indicate: there may be from 12 to 15 thousand there,” Zaryn said.
According to him, this group of people arrived at the territory of Belarus in recent months. At the same time, about 4,000 of these migrants already approached the border with Poland, said the representative of the country’s special services.
He also added that, most likely, the current migration crisis will drag on for many days, “if not longer.”
On November 8, a group of migrants from the Middle East gathered at the Belarusian-Polish border and tried to break through the fence. The Government of Poland estimated their number of 3000-4000 people. In this regard, from the morning of Tuesday, on November 9, the Border Guard of Poland closed the Kuznitsy checkpoint across the border with Belorussia.
