They want to get “a fair recognition of their profession”. Nursing Nursing Anesthetists State Graduates (IADE) called for a “dead block” week in hospitals from Monday, November 8, promising “a clear slowdown in programmed operating activity”.
These collectives, rallied under the “Iade United” banner, are covered by a strike notice filed by the CGT, for the period from 2 to 11 November inclusive, claiming “legislative, regulatory and financial recognition of their profession” , incorporating “the hardness of their exercise”, as well as “the respect [of their] exclusive skills”.
“In struggle for over a year”
Anesthetists’ nurses “are in struggle for more than a year” and “have nothing to lose anymore,” affirm collectives in a statement denouncing “lack of government will to access [to their] claims legitimate “, both with respect to the status and salary.
They therefore call “a week” dead block “, black week without Iade”, in order to “force the government to change their profession favorably”. “Strong disturbances should be expected from this Monday, November 8 in all the operating blocks of the territory, with a sharp slowdown in the programmed operating activity, excluding emergencies”, they warn.
