Samsung filed to the USA due to defective laptops, during the use of which the computer screen could break. This is reported by the Bleeping Computer edition.
The collective claim was served in the United States District Court in New Jersey County. The plaintiffs complain about the Samsung Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 laptop, which has a defect that leads to the device breakdown. It is reported that the device has a hinge, thanks to which it can be folded and transformed into a tablet. However, over time, connecting the screen and the rest of the device of the loop fail and break the display.
Members who submitted reports noted that Samsung’s laptops actually self-suite after a certain time time. Outraged consumers are confident that the company knew about defect, but did not delete an unsuccessful model from the sale.
The Samsung statement states that the company usually promptly replaces the defective device or returns money to the consumer. Representatives of the company noted that the breakdown may be due to the fact that users are too often or too sharply open and close the laptop cover.
In October, Moscow Arbitration Court forbade the import and sale of Samsung smartphones in Russia 61. The reason for the ban was the appeal of the Swiss SQWIN SA, who opposed the use of the Samsung Pay payment service in Russia due to the violation of the patent for technology.
