Pakistan Marine Security Agency fired a fishing vessel of India. It is reported by the NDTV TV channel.
PE occurred in the Arabian Sea. A total of seven fishermen were on the vessel. As a result of a random shooting, one person hid in the cabin, but received three bullets in the chest and died. The captain of the ship was injured, he was taken to the hospital in the Indian state of Gujarat. The Indian side claims that fishermen were outside the 12-mile economic zone of countries and did not provoke Pakistani military.
In February, Pakistan admitted that he holds 270 fishermen in prisons with Indian citizenship. In India, 77 Pakistani fishermen were arrested.
