Biden refused principle of “America in first place”

US President Joe Biden refused the principle of “America in the first place” (America First) chosen by his predecessor Donald Trump. This was stated by the Assistant Head of State on National Security Jake Sullivan, reports TASS.

According to him, Biden is confident that the thesis about leadership actually puts the country lately. “If you look at the Baiden policy towards Europe, a striking contrast with the actions of Trump,” the official pointed out. As an example, he led to a successful resolution of disputes between Boeing and Airbus and the creation of a US and Europe interaction scheme for the confrontation of China.

The position of America First was first formulated after the First World War with supporters of the isolationist principles and non-interference policies, while they considered it possible to neglect international agreements. In 1940, the same organization was created, its supporters considered the key task to prevent America’s entry into the second world war. Supporters of this movement were also presidents of John Kennedy and Gerald Ford.
