US is in a state of cultural war, which can grow into civil. Jason Hill, Professor of Philosophy from the University of De Field (Chicago, Illinois), made this opportunity in conversation with “Tape.ru”.
In the opinion of Hill, a black out of Jamaica, the problems of racism in America today have been resolved. However, in recent years, part of society in the face of neomarcists and supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement (BLM) launched an active struggle with the “superiority of white” and with so-called white privileges. Since 2020, this struggle, in his opinion, has reached invisible scale.
Professor called the actions of supporters of BLM desire to erase white people from the face of the Earth. “According to supporters of critical racial theory, white babies are racists, without even suspecting it,” the Professor explained the position of the BLM movement.
The current state of the Hill affairs considers it dangerous: freedoms are destroyed in the country and obstacles are created for the development of a whole generation of white Americans. Today, the rights of white people are infringed upon promoting the service and obtaining social benefits. Professor believes that for the sake of the survival of Western civilization and free society from such practices and their ideas should be refused.
Black Lives Matter’s defense in the protection of African Americans appeared in 2013, and in 2020, it became world famous against the background of high-profile protests in the United States after killing the Minocher American police officers George Floyd. BLM participants require systematic changes and believe that Floyd’s murder is associated with racist prejudices in society.
Problems of equality and discrimination on a racial basis were one of the central themes of the project “Renta.ru” called “The Problems of the First World”. Materials are combined with the theme of the crisis of liberal values in the Western world and split in society. They are talking about how the ideas of freedom and universal equality turn into a tool of oppression, and the struggle for the rights of some groups of people turns into the placelessness of others.
