Moldova: wanted to increase price of Russian gas

As noted in the message, the company sent a request to increase the average tariff for the supply of natural gas to end consumers in 2021 from 4,168 to 9,396 lei for cubic meters (from 16,500 to 37,500 rubles). “The main factor determining the need to revise tariffs has become a significant increase in purchasing price,” the company said.

Moldavian side and Gazprom 29 October extended a gas contract for a period of five years. The Russian company called the conditions mutually beneficial. Chisina also remained satisfied with the new agreements.
